Keep Rolling

A game where you are a dice trying to avoid getting catch by multiples angry hands. Avoiding them by keeping rolling from them.

How to play :
Choose between AWSD or ZQSD to move before playing, use SPACE to roll the dice, rolling have a cool-down. Avoid the hands and survive as long as you can. After hitting a cushion, you next roll have a vertical boost.
Also green dices heal you.

Context :
My submission for the GMTK Game Jam 2022.

That was my first time creating a prototype "game" (and participating in a game jam), theme was "roll of the dice", plenty cool mechanics on paper, wasn't able to implement a lot of them in engine, mostly because i don't have a good understanding of how godot works, will do better next time :D.

Software used :

• Made with Godot 4.0 alpha 11
  
• Models with Blender 3.0
• Art with Aseprite, using a palette from @PineTreePizza

Known issues :
The dice might get stuck on the floor if completely immobile.
Camera will go in some models without collide.
